I was supposed to meet up with my friends Rick and Carl and fish the White Clay Creek, a Delaware River, in Delaware near dam #2. I hope they had a good outing. My girls were home for the holiday and we were out exceptionally late on Wed nite and I never made the date. So I fished the Big Elk about noontime. I started at Strickersville/Lewisville Rd and fished 1/2 mile past the covered bridge in Fairhill. One trout and a bluegill both taken on a Barr's Bead head caddis - olive size 12. The day was very nice and it literally cleared my head from the night before! Hope to be back on the White Clay Creek tomorrow morning Black Friday before opening the shop early at 9:00 am.
