The White Clay Creek, a Delaware river, was up slightly from the Sat rain event. Water temp moderated at 54 degrees. I participated in a tying class put on by the White Clay Fly Fishers on Saturday, so this morning I tried out a couple of the new wool flies we tyed in the class. The dry fly was most productive with a half dozen smallmouth bass falling for it. The nymph drew no hits and the woolbugger interested a few trout but no takers. The rain and wind moved some of the leaf litter into some new spots. Overall a nice morning of fishing for me.
