A short outing today with good results.  Larger size nymphs (10/12) got attention by brown trout today.  A few showed signs of spawning colors, so maybe autumn is here according to the fish.  A pattern highlighted in the fall issue of Fly Tyer also produced a fish - red psycho nymph size 12.  You'll need to tie that one yourself since it's not a shop pattern - yet!  I will blog a product review on friday so stay tuned.
