We got a window of no rain last night , and the creek after peaking at a flow of over 2000 cfs,  is falling back and at this spring forward hour is running 500 cfs - high and muddy and full of washed down trash.  We will need a stream cleanup to get rid of the floatsam.  Take a muddy walk and see the conditions for yourself.  Take along a 33 gal trash bag and bag some trash as you go.  A few "trail-trash" walks and the stream will be looking pristine again.
