The fish were looking up and a corn fed caddis dry size 14 skittered along the top took fish on the White Clay Creek, a Delaware River in PA today. Water temp was up a degree to 41 and the water was still running about twice normal flow from snow melt. Emerging caddis also were getting attention and accounted for a few fish today. Seems the fish are feeling the approaching storm as the barometer has started falling. Watch the muddy edges and banks as you enter the stream...very slippery.
