Well, I guess I'm guest blogger for a day or two.

Stream conditions remain good. Water is a little up from the melt but not dirty. Warm temperature in late February means stonefly hatches. The only problem remains stream access due to the snow; but it is improving every day. Make sure you have black to dr brown stonefly nymphs, size 16 to 20. Dark to black Copper Johns, hare's ears, and pheasant tails also work. If you want to do some surface fishing try black midges and small Adams (18 to 22). If you want to fish streamers small zonkers and buggers are a good choice. I find either use a very fast strip or very slow retrieve with the giggle-giggle action (medium speed seems not so good). Just take your time moving around and you'll be fine.

We also have some great sales going on.
Spend $100.00 and get a free Allen hip pack (a $23.00 value while supplies last).
Buy any Rise reel and get a spare spool for just $50.00.
We still have about six St. Croix rods. Ken built these on top end blanks with upgraded hardware. Regular price is $400.00 to $565.00. Right now, your pick on what is on the rack for just $300.00. WOW!
We are also have a buy one get one half off for all Grays Zingers. These are nicely designed tools for your vest..
We just restocked the William Joseph line of packs and we have a selection of Wm Joseph pants waders in stock.
