Fished the DH section in PA on the White Clay Creek, a Delaware river today. Found a few trout interested in little black stones, large nymphs and olive caddis emergers fished on the bottom. Heard from a few customers also fishing today that were not having too much luck fishing streamers. I have been suggesting that fishers observe the little black/brown stonefly activity just starting. Check out some streamside deadfall and bridge abutments for the adults - then fish a size 14 rubberlegged nymph near the stream edges. I think you wil find some success with this strategy over the next week or two.
