Tried the White Clay Creek above Sharpless Road bridge today. It was cold and windy. Air temp was 19 and the water temp 37 at 7:30 am today. The fish still are attracted to swinging flies, with a mixed bag of browns, rainbows and brookies falling for yellow streamer patterns. The stream was running at normal levels although some fines still staining the water. Best fishing days this week will be Wed and Thurs since we will have a falling barometer ahead of the predicted snow event. See you on the water tomorrow.
