While the WCC in DE continues to be shoulder to shoulder, I have opted for other venues.  Today my friends Ed G, Keith B and I fished for shad, and while the main run is just starting we each managed a respectible number of fish.  The best fly colors were, chartruese and white, red and yellow and red with flash.  The streams will be feeling the effects of the rain events predicted for Monday so get out there today before any potential flooding moves the fish off the bite.
