Had to take care of some medical issues today in Oxford so I fished the BIg Elk below Camp Saginaw. A Black ant with a red indicator took multiple pan fish and one small mouth. I switched to a streamer (Winnipesaukee smelt size 8) and caught two nice brown trout. I had not fished that section this summer but the water was reasonable for late summer conditions. The water temp at 67 degrees at 7:15am today. I think I will visit this spot again and see how far I can wade in a two hour period with productivity.
