I walked into Fair Hill Preserve in MD today to see the openning antics on the Big Elk.  The parking lot by the covered bridge was about half full and fishers had already staked out their claim to water on the creek by 7:15 am.  Fishing season is open - in MD.  The DE & PA season opens next Sat 4/4.  Delaware stockings will start on 3/30 and continue throughout  the month.  Take advantage of getting your license for PA, MD, & DE on line and be ready to start the season.  Let's hope the rains we are expecting over the weekend bring our waters back to normal conditions.
