Morning guys,

I hope you had a great Christmas.  I started the day off great.  I was up early and decided to hit the water.I went out to Good Hope Road, and since I have had some recent success with egg patterns, that's what I started with.  After about 15-20 minutes of hitting some very nice drifts without so much as a nibble I switched over to a nymph.  2nd drift through the same area netted me a very nice 12-13 inch rainbow.  2 drifts later, I was lucky enough to land a very nice Brown, about 11 inches or so.  2 casts later, I managed to stick the nymph on a rock or branch.  Efforts to remove it were futile.  I ended up loosing my tippet.  My jacket pocket which usually has 4-5 tippets in it was empty.  So, it was time to go home and enjoy the holiday with my family.  I was home by 9:30, and a very nice Christmas followed.  I hope everyone who reads this blog had as nice a day as I had.

See you soon.   Rick D
