Tried my luck on the White Clay Creek, a Delaware River, along Creek road in Newark today. It was confirmed that about 300 fish were stocked in this section by Delaware Trout Assn. I was able to fool four fish - one about 17" while wading the stretch above Dam 2. A few other fishers were spinning the section too and they had some nice sized fish on stringers. Hot fly today was an orange steely stone and a yellow egg with blood dot. Water temp was 54 today. Saw no surface activity but leaves were still blowing down.
